Quartier de Saint-Clair, Le chemin des Peintres

This "PATH OF THE PAINTERS" allows you to walk in the footsteps of the artists who lived in the "Saint Clair" district, following a route that evokes the presence between 1892 and 1926 of several important figures in the history of neo-impressionism, such as Théo Van Rysselberghe and Henri-Edmond Cross, or writers such as André Gide and Emile Verhaeren.
Reproductions of their works are displayed on desks along a 2.5 km route through the district, which can be walked in about 1 hour.

The Mediterranean garden
Domaine du Royal

This marvellous garden is owned by the Coastal Conservatory. It presents all the species of Mediterranean climate plants in the world: California, Australia, Mexico, Chile, Argentina…
It also preserves one of the last wild shores of the coast. During a walk with or without the company of a botanist guide, you will discover remarkable plants among the Arbutus trees, the Cistus and the Myrtles of the Provençal maquis.

St. Tropez

The Fort of Brégançon in Bormes-les-Mimosas

The Fort of Brégançon in Bormes-les-Mimosas is open to the public in the summer season. This lair of brigands and pirates, on a little island, became the official residence of the Présidents of the French Republic in 1968. Make the most of your trip to Bormes-les-Mimosas to discover this old mediaeval village which has kept all its authenticity. A symbol of the Côte d'Azur.

The Villa Théo cultural centre

The former home of the neo-impressionist painter Theo Van Rysselberghe has been transformed into an art centre since its opening in 2017. Discover temporary contemporary and classical exhibitions. For a cultural visit or for art lovers, the Villa is open from Tuesday to Saturday in Le Lavandou.
